A Photo Montage is a way to express a collection of photographs assembled together with music and placed on a DVD. Having photographs on a DVD to share with family and friends can be a very emotional and endearing time.

The Bride and Groom growing up is typically shown at the wedding rehearsal or reception. This can also be include on the wedding DVD. It would include pictures of the Bride growing up, the Groom as he grows up, and then pictures of them together after they met. It works best if these are in thirds. If you want a 60 picture montage, try to get 20 of the Bride, 20 of the Groom and then 20 together.

It requires approximately eight to ten photographs for one minute of video. So, 80-100 photographs would make about a ten minute video. The video will include the music of your choice. You can download the form to prepare your photographs and music, or we can mail you one. If you choose to download the form, you must have Adobe Acrobat to view and print the form.

For Best Results make sure each image is clear and focused. Also do not use photos that have been cut into shapes (circles,hearts,stars,etc). Number each photo in the order you want it to appear. Do this by using a sticky note on the BACK or using a pencil. Do not use a marker or pen. Many inks are acidic and can damage the photo.

You can add captions to the Photo Montage. These can help the audience follow the story being told and make it very entertaining. Please limit the captions to twenty words or less. You will need to include a document, or send an email, with the photo numbers and the caption for that photo.

The music selected will set the mood and tempo for your montage. Try to use both sentimental and upbeat songs. Include songs that are meaningful to the person that you are having this created for.
